Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the ProType Masterclass.

Do I need prior typing experience to join?
No, absolutely not. This course is designed taking you from scratch. We start with the basics of keyboard layout and correct finger placement before moving on to speed building.
Which Hindi font/keyboard layout do you teach?
We comprehensively cover both the traditional Kruti Dev (Remington) and the modern standard Mangal (Inscript) layouts. Depending on the specific exam you are preparing for (SSC, High Court, CPCT), you can choose to focus on the one that aligns with your goals.
What kind of keyboard should I use for practice?
We strongly recommend using a standard desktop mechanical or membrane keyboard with a numeric keypad (like the TVS Gold or standard Dell/HP keyboards). Avoid flat laptop keyboards for primary practice, as exam centers strictly use bulky desktop keyboards.
Is there a guarantee I will hit 50 WPM?
Typing relies heavily on muscle memory. If you follow our exact frameworks, do not look at the keyboard, and dedicate at least 1 hour of practice daily as instructed, achieving 40-50+ WPM in English and 30+ WPM in Hindi within 3 months is highly achievable.
How are the mock tests conducted?
In Month 3, we simulate real exam environments. This includes software interfaces where the backspace key is disabled (for strict exams) or partially enabled, and we calculate your exact Net WPM by deducting points for errors, exactly how government boards grade you.
